All About Me

 The Early Days

Growing up in a low-income household, I was taught to appreciate the little things, make do with what I have and pinch pennies when needed. 

I learned the value of money very early on. My single mom always used the classic “Money doesn’t grow on trees” line.

I was never the first to get the latest and greatest toys. but I always had everything I needed.

I’ve been hustling from a young age. From selling tattoos in elementary school, cat-sitting, to helping out at my mom’s work. Earning some spending money here and there.

 The University Years

Eventually it was time to go to University. Around the same time I got a job part time. Each semester I would have to empty my bank account for tuition and books, and would then start saving all over again.

I did that for four years.

After graduation, I got a full time job in my field, while continuing to work my part-time retail job.

2016 

At 26 I used all of my savings for a down payment on a $330,000 (CDN) condo of my dreams.

 2018

After almost 11 years, I retired from my retail job. I had saved enough money to live off my full-time income.

2021

Now at the tender age of 31, I have decided to take on my next adventure, which is helping other women save money, so they can build their dream lives.

Where I grew up: Ontario, Canada (Yours to Discover)

Marital status: Currently the best girlfriend, to my amazing boyfriend, Andrew.

Kids: We have two fur babies. A chubby ginger cat named Reese, and a little old lady cat named Annabella. We also have a scaly baby, a bearded dragon named Bloodscale. 

I am also a plant mama to quite a few plants, I may have a problem.

Guilty pleasure: Chocolate, can you guess my favorite?* Hint I named my cat after it

One thing I do daily: Laugh

I should spend less time doing: Watching videos on YouTube, scrolling Pinterest and Instagram

Things I would like to spend more time doing: Walking coastlines, exploring forests and trekking through untouched snow.

Hobbies: Card making, reading, and hiking. 

Favorite meal: Spaghetti 

Favorite animal: I’m not picking just one. Cats, owls, penguins, polar bears (must be the Canadian in me), pandas, and anything cute really.

Favorite color: Purple and blue
